Recently, Mighty Oaks Foundation awarded its’ first financial grant to another organization (Soul Survivor Outdoor) to amplify our partnership efforts in the area of spiritual resiliency.  Mighty Oaks has already been partnering with Soul Survivor Outdoor (SSO) for the last two years, providing speakers for their programs, but is now excited about expanding the relationship.  This partnership is a win-win, as we compliment each other to better serve the Warriors we support.  Just like the Mighty Oaks FoundationSoul Survivor Outdoor is also impacting the world for Christ, one military service member at a time.

Marines from the Marine Corps Communications and Electronic School (MCCES) at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twentynine Palms attended a climbing and hiking event Saturday December 2, 2017 at Joshua Tree National Park (Indian Cove).

MCCES Students and Staff participated in a rock climbing and hiking event at Joshua Tree National Park.  The event focused on  strengthening resiliency and spiritual fitness.  Students and staff had an opportunity to participate in a meal, listen to a guest speaker, and engage in individual and group discussion in a wilderness setting.  The event gave service members  a chance to relax and let their guard down, unpack the stress of daily life, refresh their spirit, clear their minds, and restore the soul.
