Marine Corps veteran Rick Wolf started the Soul Survivor Outdoor organization in 2014, providing military men and women in several states with fun activities including skydiving, horseback riding, fishing, rock climbing and others, while also having conversations about faith and fellowship.
WACO, Texas — Under the early morning Texas sunrise at the Brazos Bluffs Ranch in Waco, Soul Survivor Outdoor, a non-profit outdoor adventure company awaits the arrival of some of Fort Hood's finest troopers for a day of horseback riding, learning, listening and self-reflection.
Over a period of three days, 55 Troopers didn’t just horseback ride and take a day off. It is not a retreat, it is actual training. The program is designed for participation, with group discussions and testimonies led by members within Soul Survivor Outdoor.
Marines, Sailors, families, and Tim Foreman from Switchfoot, came out and flew with SSO from 13,000 feet.
An epic event of skydiving with GoJump Oceanside and a resounding talk on spiritual fitness and living a godly life in the military by U.S. Navy SEAL Remi Adeleki was had Saturday October 14, 2017.

Marines from Camp Pendleton and Twentynine Palms enjoyed an incredible day of wake boarding and jet skiing at Carlsbad Lagoon in Carlsbad, CA. The day finished out with relaxing at a local Carlsbad home and enjoying epic BBQ and gourmet sides. God is good all the time!!!
3rd Battalion 5th Marines at Camp Pendleton hosted a spiritual resiliency event with band Kutless on February 11, 2017.
Nearly 600 Marines, Sailors, veterans, and their families were treated to food, festivities, and an incredible concert with Kutless. Eight time Afghanistan USMC Force Recon veteran, Chad Robichaux, founder and president of Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs gave a resounding talk on resiliency and how a life of faith can save us from being "stuck on the x;" in the cross airs of destruction. Attendees were riveted to Chad's speech as he discussed real life issues, his struggles coming home from combat, his rise to world champion MMA fighter, to coming to Christ and having his life totally and completely changed forever.
Marines, Sailors, and families gathered December 10, 2017 to shoot trap and skeet at Camp Pendleton. It was a great morning followed by lunch and a short discussion led by USMC Chief Warrant Officer 4 Steven Workman.

Military service members, veterans, and families of service members came together Saturday September 10, 2016 for a full day of outdoor activities, archery, skeet shooting, skydiving, cross fit, and a free concert. What a fantastic time of high energy activity and fellowship.

The SoCal Military Men's Crucible was a great hit. Nearly 60 service members attended this 3 day event at Lake O'Neil Camp Pendleton. Military and veterans heard from U.S. Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke, former Reconnaissance Marine Chad Robichaux, former Army Chaplain Cliff Graham, and many other great speakers. High energy activities were also part of the event. Guys went skydiving, jet skiing, paint balling, surfing, and skeet shooting. It was an amazing time of hanging out, eating, having fun, and hearing what it is to be a godly man.
Soul Survivor Outdoor will be at the Military Men's Crucible at Camp Pendleton September 25th through the 27th. The event is open to military, veterans, and sons of military and veterans 13 and older.
This event has been dubbed a "promise keepers" for military men. The lead church in charge of steering this event is the Rock Church San Diego and there are multiple churches and ministries in the region on board with this event including North Coast Calvary Chapel, Calvary Chapel Oceanside, and the Anchor Cafe Oceanside, Soul Survivor Outdoor, and many others.
